We have worked with BlueNC over several election cycles. Richir Outreach has served as a one stop shop for this DNC credentialed statewide blog. We have provided solutions for the blogging community's social media, design, web development, hosting, and data management needs. With over a thousand registered contributors, BlueNC serves a vital role as a social network for North Carolina's progressive community.
Most recently we designed and implemented the rotating banner images to spice up the look of the site in a subtle way. We created a "banner images" content type with an image field, uploaded the correctly sized designed and then threw the images into a view which displays one at a time in a random order.
BlueNC is one of our sites on which we are successfully using Mollom to protect from spam. Mollom is a great tool to catch spam on both blog and form submissions, and they offer a free package which has worked great for all the clients who have needed it.
